Five Ways to Make Your Backyard Feel Magical
You don't need to renovate your outdoor space before your session. A few thoughtful touches can help create an atmosphere that feels warm, cozy, and true to your family.
Let the kids play barefoot if they're comfortable.
Schedule your session close to sunset, when the light becomes soft and golden, or early in the morning before the harsh mid-day sunlight sets in.
Bring out a favorite quilt or blanket for cuddles and story time.
Don't tidy away every toy—sometimes the well-loved wagon, tiny watering can, or bubble wand tells part of your family's story.
Trust the chaos. Some of the most treasured photographs happen between the posed moments.
Home Is Worth Remembering
Years from now, your children probably won't remember every outfit they wore.
